PSC earns split Saturday losing game one 7-5 to St. Joseph's and beating Delgado 10-4 in game two. 

In game one, the Pirates had to play catch up from early on as St. Joseph's scored 3 runs in the second off of starter Chad Bryant. After both teams scored a run apiece in the third inning, the Pirates started to get the offense going. The Pirates put up 2 runs in the fourth to cut the lead to 4-3 thanks to back to back hits from Ryan Brewer and James Parris. In the fifth, Pensacola would tie things on a two run homerun of the bat of Griffin Rivers, his second of the year. St. Joseph's would add two runs in the bottom of the sixth to take a 7-5 lead. The Pirates would threaten in the 7th by loading the bases but Josh Rulli lined out to the shortstop and the runner at second would get doubled off to end the game. 

The Pirates were led offensively by Griffin Rivers who went 2-4 with 2RBI's and a homerun. JR Breeden took the loss allowing two runs in two innings of work. 

In game two, the PSC earned the victory thanks to solid pitching and some timely hitting. The Pirates would take the lead right from the start as Parris would walk, steal second and eventually score on a Delgado throwing error to give the Pirates a 1-0 lead. The score would stay the same until the third when PSC catcher Richard Sorrenti hit his second home run of the weekend, this one a solo shot to left to give Pensacola a 2-0 lead. Delgado would answer right back with a 4 run inning in the bottom of the third as the Dolphins recorded 4 hits to take a 4-2 lead. The Pirates showed that they had some fight in them as the offense would put the game away with 3 runs in the fourth, 4 runs in the fifth and 1 in the seventh. Starting pitcher DJ Wilkinson would do the rest as he was magnificent the rest of the game throwing his second complete game of the year. The right-hander went 7 innings allowing 4 runs on 7 hits and struckout 8.  James Parris (2-3 1R 2RBI's, 3B) and Richard Sorrenti (1-4 1R, 2RBI's, HR) led the Pirates offensively.
