Monday's game against Chipola ended in heartbreak for the Pirates, as they lost the lead late in an 11-6 defeat. The game was tied at four with Chipola batting in the bottom of the sixth. The Indians would score four runs in the inning to take 8-4 lead.
Chad Bryant would get the start for Pensacola and would go 5 innings giving up 4 runs while striking out 3. Jacob Riordan would take the loss in relief giving up 4 runs in two-thirds of an inning.
Fausto Lopez, Ryan Brewer, and Sean Ross would collect multiple hits for the Pirates in the loss.
Pensacola will be back home on Wednesday as they finish up the series with Chipola at 5:00pm.
