Pirates Win Seven Over Three Series

Over the last two weeks, Pensacola State College (PSC) baseball faced a series of challenging and thrilling games against Gulf Coast State College (GC), Northwest Florida State College (NWF), and Tallahassee State College (TCC). They were able to pick up seven wins and currently sit in third place in Panhandle play.

PSC vs. GC:

• Loss 8-4: Despite matching Gulf Coast with 11 hits, PSC fell short due to untimely hitting. Kaden Wilks and Taft Middleton led the offense, but Justin Hoff took the loss, allowing 6 runs over 4.1 innings.
• Win 6-5: PSC staged a dramatic comeback with a five-run rally in the final inning. Taft Middleton and Kaden Wilks each drove in two runs, while Drew Reaves added two RBIs. Isaiah Espinoza and Anthony Sedam combined for four shutout innings, with Sedam earning the win.
• Win 3-2: PSC edged Gulf Coast in a tight game, scoring the winning run in the sixth inning. Mason Onate scored twice and stole three bases, while Makaio Cisneros and Dalton Biggs kept Gulf Coast in check over seven innings.

PSC vs. NWF:

• Loss 13-6: NWF's explosive offense overpowered PSC, despite two homers and four RBIs from Kaden Wilks. Carson Small took the loss, giving up six runs in just over three innings.
• Loss 14-4: PSC struggled against NWF's hitters, with Justin Hoff giving up seven runs in 4.1 innings. Lincoln Pack's home run and RBIs from Caden Hartman and Taft Middleton weren't enough to overcome the deficit.
• Win 5-3: PSC secured a win with Dalton Biggs earning the victory in relief. Lincoln Pack, Kaden Wilks, Taft Middleton, and Hunter Vaughn each contributed an RBI, with Vaughn and Middleton hitting home runs.
• Win 8-2: PSC triumphed with standout performances from Lincoln Pack and Mason Onate. Bradley Link earned the win, pitching three scoreless innings, while Makaio Cisneros secured the game with four solid innings of relief.

PSC vs. TCC:

• Loss 18-17: In a high-scoring affair, PSC couldn't overcome TCC's offensive onslaught despite strong efforts from Will Barter and Mason Onate. Pensacola's pitching staff struggled to contain Tallahassee's lineup.
• Win 8-5: PSC bounced back with home runs from Lincoln Pack and Kaden Wilks. Justin Hoff earned the win, pitching five innings and striking out four.
• Win 12-2: PSC dominated with a well-rounded offensive and defensive effort. Taft Middleton led the way, going 4-for-4 and scoring three runs. Cole Ingole earned the win, pitching four innings and allowing two runs.
• Win 15-3: PSC triumphed in a dominant victory, with Kaden Wilks driving in six RBIs and Lincoln Pack and Taft Middleton contributing multiple RBIs. Makaio Cisneros earned the win, allowing three runs over four innings.

The Pirates kickoff the final series of regular season play today against Chipola College when they host the Indians at 5:00 pm.
