The PSC Men's Basketball Team lost their season opener in triple overtime to Southwest Tennessee 84-83. The Pirates had a chance to pull out the victory with 7 seconds left but couldn't get the final shot to drop. PSC had opportunities to put the game away  but struggled late in the game at the free throw line. Willesley Butler was the leading scorer for the Pirates, scoring 25pts and 15 rebounds. Yiekson Montero and Matt Johnson each scored 15pts as well. The Pirates are back in action next Tuesday at Coastal Alabama in Monroeville.
