The Pirates kept the winning streak alive with a 63-61 win over the defending Region Champions, St. Petersburg College. The game was tied at 61 with 12 seconds left until Daryl Lewis attempted a three from the right corner which Carlos Rosario rebounded and put back at the buzzer. Yeikson Montero led the scoring attack for the Pirates with 16 points followed by Gerald Williams with 11. Carlos Rosario pulled down 12 rebounds and chipped in 5 points. That makes it 6 in a row for the Pirates and 9 out of their last 10. Tomorrow they close out the weekend with State College of Florida at Manatee at 1:00 pm EST at the Santa Fe Shootout.
