PSC Rallies In 2nd Half to Beat TCC 71-64

Pensacola State (12-9, 1-3) defeated TCC (14-6, 1-3) 71-64 in a come from behind victory on the road.  TCC started the game on a 13-1 run and extended the lead to 18-4 with 13:33 to go in the half.  The Pirates came alive and out scored the Eagles 21-13 to cut the TCC lead to 31-25.  In the second half, the Pirates scored the first nine points and took its first lead at 34-31.  In the second, the lead changed 11 times and was tied 6 times.  The last tie was at 63 with 1:41 left.   The Pirates took the lead for good with an alley oop to Daryl Lewis from Mike McDougal and 3/4 FT's by Lewis. Will Butler finished it off with 2 FTs.

PSC was led by Carlos Rosario with 18 pts.  Daryl Lewis had 14 and 6 rebs, and 3 assists. Yeikson Montero finished with 11 pts., 5 rebs, 2 assists and 2 steals.  PSC will next play at Northwest Florida on the 27th at 7:30pm.
