PSC's Men's Basketball will open thier season hosting the Pensacola Select Tip Off this weekend at Hartselle Arena. The Pirates will take on Action Academy Friday Nov.2nd at 7:30pm and finish off Saturday at 7:30pm with Coastal Alabama. 

The Pirates should have a lot more athleticism and length in comaprison to last season. Three key returners come back for their second season. Yeikson Montero should have a breakout season after averaging 10ppg and 5 rebounds last season. Carlos Rosario is a dominant force down low and should build upon his 8ppg last season. Point Guard Mike McDougal will once again be asked to control things  offensively for the Pirates. 

The Pirates have also added a few new faces that should be big contributors right away. Shawndaruis Cowart from Pensacola High is an intangible guy that can play multiple positions for the Pirates. Isaah Williams is a transfer from Liberty University who will make an immediate impact on both sides of the court. De'monte Nelson is a freshman guard who can get to the rim and create his own shot offensively. Bryce Hunt is a freshman forward who should be a big presence inside for the Pirates.
