PSC Men's Basketball went 1-1 in the Thanksgiving Classic over the weekend. The Pirates opened Friday night with a 99-80 win over Miami Dade Friday night. Yeikson Montero once again led  PSC in scoring by dropping 23 points to go along with 5 assists. Shawndarius Cowart had another double/double for the Pirates with 17 points and 10 assists. Isaiah Williams also had a big night scoring 19 points. 

In Saturday's game, PSC fell to 15th ranked Trinity Valley (TX) 86-74. The Pirates went into halftime down by five, but in the second half Trinity Valley pulled away. Yeikson Montero (23pts, 10 reb) and Shawndarius Cowart (10pts, 12 reb) each had double/doubles for Pensacola. 

After the weekend, the Pirates moved to 7-2 on the season. Pensacola will be back in action Tuesday to take on Bishop State in Mobile.
