Pensacola Bounces Back Defeating Central Florida 81-65

Pensacola State bounces back from their loss to Florida Southwestern to defeat College of Central Florida Sunday night 81-65. PSC used a smothering zone defense to build a 43-32 lead at the half. The Pirates controlled the tempo once again in the second half and would finish off Central Florida with a 16 point victory. PSC was led by Yeikson Montero with 18 points and 12 rebounds. It was his 4th double/double of the season. Yeikson is having a breakout year averaging 19 points per game and 8 rebounds. Isaiah Williams had another big night for the Pirates with 13 points and 6 rebounds. 

Pensacola moves to 11-4 on the season. The Pirates will return to action on Dec.28th and 29th at the Tallahassee Classic. Panhandle play begins Jan. 5 with PSC at Northwest Florida.
