Pensacola State (12-6) opened Panhandle Conference play at Northwest Florida State (15-2) and was hit by a three-point barrage. NWF hit 16-31 threes and led by as much as 26 points in the second half. The Pirates would cut into NWF's lead but fall 92-77. The Pirates were led by De'monte Nelson with 18pts. Isaiah Williams had 16pts and 10 rebounds.
