Pirates Drop Two in Niceville

The Pirates traveled to Niceville this past weekend and unfortunately came away empty handed.

Pensacola lost on Friday night to a state ranked Polk State team by a score of 72-53. The Pirates were led by Zondrick Garrett who had 22 points and six rebounds.

The Pirates then lost a heartbreaker Saturday to Southern Union Community College, in overtime, 79-75. PSC had four players in double digit scoring. Truth Harris led the way with 18 points, while Naim Miller, and D'Anthony Pennington each finished with 14 points. Jarveil Gainey contributed 12 points and five assists.

Pensacola State will host Coastal Alabama South-Bay Minette on Wednesday, December 8th, at 7:00 pm in the Hartsell Arena.
