Pirates Hold On for 56-54 Win Over Chipola

 It was a great win for the Pirates on Saturday against the no. 9 ranked Chipola Indians. Pensacola had an outstanding defensive and rebounding effort throughout the game.

Jalen Keago led PSC offensively with 20 points, going 6-for-8 from 3-point range. Brendan Terry had a huge impact on the glass pulling down 13 rebounds.

"Everyone chipped in with an incredible defensive effort," said Head Coach Pete Pena, "it was as physical game as there is at our level and I'm very proud of our guys."

The Pirates will have a huge task ahead on Wednesday when they travel to Tallahassee to face the Eagles who are averaging 80 points a game.
