The Pirates bounced back on Saturday, February 17^th against Gulf Coast State to secure a strong 99-81 victory. It was one of the Pirates best games of the year.

It was a team effort and Pensacola put up stellar shooting numbers hitting 71.2% from the field, 41.2% from 3-point range and 90% from the free throw line.

Elijah Wyche led the team with 21 points and 12 rebounds while Brendan Terry came off the bench to pour in 20 points. Jalen Keago chipped in 13 points while every Pirate contributed on offense to score in the game. Pensacola also outrebounded the Commodores 30 to 17 in the game.

There are three games left on the schedule and a State Tournament berth is on the line with each game. They will travel to Chipola on Wednesday, February 21^st to the face the 1^st place Indians and will turn around and host Tallahassee on Saturday, February 24^th.
