Pirates Soar Past Eagles 64-51

In a thrilling matchup on Saturday, the Pirate Basketball team hosted the Meridian Eagles and secured a solid 64-51 victory. This win brings the Pirates' record to 8-5 as they head into the holiday break.

The Pirates maintained their lead throughout the game, showcasing their teamwork and depth. Isaiah Sutherland led the charge with 15 points, while Will Vasser contributed nine points. Amarion Savage and Dimitri Clerc each added eight points to the scoreboard. The depth of the Pirates' roster was evident as Jalik Nichols came off the bench to score eight points, and Johnathon Pierce added seven. Dylan Colon was instrumental in facilitating the offense, dishing out five assists.

The Pirates will look to continue their winning momentum after Christmas when they host East Mississippi on December 30th.
