Softball Drops Game to Chipola

The Pensacola State softball team dropped their regular season finale game to Chipola 8-0 on Monday.

All four pitchers threw for the Pirates to help tune them up for the conference playoff that will be later this week. Raquel Latta received the start and threw two innings and only allowed one hit while recording one strikeout.

The defense was solid for PSC as they did not have any errors and Kat McGlamry threw out two of three base stealers. 

The Pirates will travel to Gulf Coast on Thursday and will face Northwest Florida State in the first game of the playoff at 5:00 pm. The winner of that game will immediately play Gulf Coast at approxiamately 7:00 to start the best of three series for the last Panhandle berth for the State Tournament.
