The Lady Pirates traveled to Hillsborough this past weekend for the Hillsborough Thanksgiving Classic. In the first game the Lady Pirates downed Broward 83-71. They had four players score in double figures with Ta'Sheanne Armstrong leading the way with 15 points, Mylashia Yancey added 14, Brandi Washington had 11 and Kaloni Pryear finished with 10. Yancey was also the leading rebounder with six while Sade Mobley swiped four steals on defense. 

In the second game of the Classic the Lady Pirates won a hard fought game against the host Hillborough 69-63. Despite being plagued by foul trouble the whole game the Lady Pirates were able to pull ahead in the third quarter and hold on. Ahyiona Vason was the leading scorer for PSC with 15 points while Mylashia Yancey recorded the first double-double of the season with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Sade Mobley again helped lead the effort on defense with five steals. 

With these two wins Lady Pirates improved their record to 10-0 for the season and will be back in action on Tuesday, November 28 when they host Bishop State at 5:30 pm.
