The new National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) poll was released on Tuesday and the Lady Pirates are currently ranked number 10. They took their top-10 ranking into a match-up versus Bishop State and prevailed 80-56. 

Nia Johnson came off the bench to provide an offensive spark and was the high scorer in the game with 19 points. Aminat Jubril had a strong performance as she collected another double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Savannah Walker and Brandi Washington rounded out the double digit scorers for the Lady Pirates as they scored 10 points a piece. 

This weekend the Lady Pirates will host Roxbury Community College and Wayne County Community College.
