On Saturday, the Lady Pirates fell behind early to number two ranked Gulf Coast State and could never recover eventually losing 82-61. After the Commodores cruised into halftime with a 42-28 lead, the Lady Pirates came out swinging in the third quarter as they scored 22 points; their highest scoring quarter in the game.
Nia Johnson was the high scorer for PSC as she recorded 20 points and Mylashia Yancey chipped in 18 points while grabbing a game high nine rebounds.
The Lady Pirates will return to action on Wednesday, January 17 when they host Chipola College at 5:30 pm.
