Lady Pirates Fall to Chipola 70-53

The Lady Pirates could never get their offense flowing on Saturday as they dropped a 70-53 decision to Chipola.

While both teams shooting averages for the game matched up closely, the Indians took advantage of their height and nearly doubled up Pensacola State (PSC)  in the rebounding column.

Nia Johnson was the leading scorer for PSC with 13 points while Ta'Sheanne Armstrong contributed 10 points and Aminat Jubril grabbed six rebounds in the game.

The Lady Pirates are now 17-6 overall and 1-6 in Panhandle play. They will host Tallahassee on Wednesday, February 7th at 5:30 pm.
