Lady Pirates Blow by Coastal Alabama-North

The Pensacola State women's basketball team blew by Coastal Alabama-North Tuesday night for a resounding 94-44 win. Despite the Lady Pirates struggling to find their flow in the first half they went into halftime with a 42-31 lead before they completed the game by setting a new season high for points scored. 

With the defense locked in the second half of the game, the Lady Pirates only gave up 13 points while they exploded for 52. Daja Woodard recorded her second double-double of the season as she put up a season high 26 points while grabbing 12 rebounds. Brandi Washington contributed 18 points and seven rebounds in the game while Sade Mobley came off the bench for 10 points and three steals. Pensacola State also pulled down a season high 52 rebounds in the game as every player who saw action contributed to the total. 

The Lady Pirates will travel to the Georgia Highlands Thanksgiving Classic this weekend and will face Cleveland State on Saturday at 3:00 pm and South Georgia Tech on Sunday at 11:00 am. The games will be streamed live on www.JockJive.com on the GCAA Channel. Viewers can pay $5 per game or $12 for a weekend pass to have access to all the games.
