Rising Pensacola State sophomores Kaiya Burnett and Zamaria Polk will participate in the NJCAA Women's Basketball Coaches Association All-Star weekend on July 19-22 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Burnett is a guard who averaged 12.8 points and 3.0 rebounds per game for the Pirates in her freshman campaign. She scored a season high 20 points in a win over Indian River State College in December.

Polk is a 6'3 forward who averaged 4.4 points and 4.2 rebounds per game as a freshman. She recorded two double-doubles during the season against Bishop State and Tallahassee Community College. 

The All-Star weekend will feature 40 of the top student-athletes from around the country and will be hosted by Clayton State University.
