Pensacola State got off to a slow start that they were never able to recover from this past Wednesday and fell to Northwest Florida (NWF) 82-62.

The Lady Pirates only had seven healthy players available for the game and they tried to fight back in the second half by outscoring NWF in the third and fourth quarters.

Kaiya Burnett led all scorers in the game with 24 points while Khadija Chambless contributed 18. 

Pensacola had a bye this past weekend, but will return to action on Wednesday, February 12th when they travel to Gulf Coast State. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 pm.
