The Lady Pirates completed a season sweep against Tallahassee by defeating them for the third time this season.

Pensacola State came out hot and secured a 23-9 lead after the first quarter and continued to cruise to a 38-20 halftime lead. 

Tallahassee was able to double their scoring output in the second half, but it would not be enough and PSC pulled off the 79-62 win.

Tai'Sheka Porchia had a stellar night putting up another double-double with 22 points and 15 rebounds. Douthshine Prien dished out a team high five assists while Aniyah Brown and Khadija Chambless both contributed nine points.

The Lady Pirates will attempt to keep their season alive when they travel to Northwest Florida on Saturday. A win will provide an opportunity for PSC to possibly qualify for postseason play. The game is scheduled for a 2:00 pm tip-off.
