Pensacola State's Paige Phillips was named Region 8 Player of the Year. A freshman forward from Milton, Fl., Phillips led Region 8 with eight goals scored and 21 points overall. 

Phillips is one of six Pirates on the All-NJCAA Region 8 team. She is joined by defenders Morgan Trombly and Emily Willis, midfielders Jenna Maiorino and Holland Tauscher and goalie Sidney Roest. 

In his inauguaral season as Pensacola State's Head Coach, Mark Yepishin was named Region 8 Coach of the Year.
