The Pirates recorded a victory last night against the University of Mobile - JV team. The match was over in four sets (23-25, 25-18, 25-19, 25-22) and the Pirates record improved to 2-3. Bailey Powell led the attack with eight kills while Zadie Engelberger and Elizabeth Thompson both chipped in seven. Annie Bradshaw and Baylee Young anchored the defense by recording eight digs each. 

Due to Hurricane Irma, the Gulf Coast State tournament that had the Pirates set to face Snead State and Hillborough Community College has been cancelled. Up next on the schedule, PSC will travel to Florida Gateway College in Lake City on Thursday, September 7. Afterwards the Pirates will continue on to Polk State to play four matches in the Polk State Invitational.
