Athletic Training Room
Pensacola State College’s Athletic Training Room is located in the Lou Ross Center. The 1400 sq. ft. facility is managed by the Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, an affiliate of Baptist Health Care. Andrews Institute provides two full-time certified athletic trainers, that provide athletic training services for the 120+ PSC student athletes. Additionally, PSC has full access to Andrews Institute and Baptist Health Care’s wide variety of services and specialist, including our three Andrews Institute team physicians, Dr. Adam Anz, Dr. James Presley, and Dr. Travis Roth, who provide quick access for injuries.
The PSC athletic training facility was recently given a new paint scheme of navy, green, and gray shades that accentuate our Pensacola State Pirate pride. The athletic training room is accessible to all PSC student athletes for their athletic needs from recovery and injury prevention to the evaluation and management of injuries. We are fortunate to be able to provide therapeutic tools and resources such as Hyperice massage guns and foam rollers, Normatec compression boots, and Therm-X cooling and heating machines.
