Sophomore pitcher Chad Bryant was chosen by the Atlanta Braves in the 25th round of the MLB Draft. Bryant, who signed with the University of Alabama, went 2-2 for the Pirates this season. For Bryant, it makes the third time his name has been called in the draft (39th rd Texas Rangers in 17, 36th rd Oakland A's in 18).
