Freshman Xavier Bussey has committed to continue his baseball career at North Carolina A&T and Coach Ben Hall. NC A&T has put together three consecutive winning seasons under Coach Hall and in 2018 the Aggies would win the MEAC Conference Tournament. 

Xavier came to Pensacola in the spring of 2019 after transferring from the University of South Carolina. Bussey would bat .536 that season in only six games before an injury would keep him sidelined for the remainder of the season. Xavier would be a big contributor to the Pirates success in the 2020 season. He would play in 23 games while batting .306 with a pair of homeruns and was 22 of 22 in stolen bases which ranked 5th in the nation. Bussey would finish second on the team with 23 runs scored.

Xavier should make an immediate impact to the Aggies line-up.
