2nd Installment of Baseball Signees
Pensacola State baseball team has signed 13 players to fill out their 2020-21 roster.
We will take a closer look at three players per week. Continue reading below to learn more about the second set of players.
Court Connally
Connally is a freshman catcher from Pensacola, FL. He is a graduate
of Pensacola Catholic High School and posted a .272 career batting average.
Why did you choose PSC?
It is a local school for me with a very good atmosphere
Do you have a role model?
My dad. He has a really good work ethic and he's a leader
What do you bring to a team?
Leadership
Do you have any goals your freshman season?
Play in as many games as possible
What is one thing you look forward to this season?
Playing at a higher level of competition
What other colleges were recruiting you?
Huntington College
Zeph Hoffpauir
Hoffpauir is a freshman transfer from the University of Louisiana Lafayette.
Zeph is from Berwick, LA and made four starts last season for the Ragin Cajuns.
Why did you choose PSC?
It is a great spot to develop my skills and to grow as a person
Do you have a role model?
My mom. She is a very strong person that puts her kids needs before her own.
What do you bring to a team?
Leadership, the will to win and compete. Also, the ability to develop a strong brotherhood with teammates.
Do you have any goals your freshman season?
To get drafted and be an effective two-way player
What is one thing you look forward to this season?
Meeting new people. Experiencing junior college and maturing as a person.

Chase Bragg
Bragg is a freshman third baseman from Pace, FL. He is
a graduate of Pace High School and was a three-year starter for the Patriots.
Why did you choose PSC?
The coaching staff was a good fit for me.
Do you have a role model?
My dad. Played in pro ball and is a good role model who offers support and guidance to me.
What do you bring to a team?
Competitiveness and the ability to support my teammates.
Do you have any goals freshman season?
Gain a starting position and hit over .300
What is one thing you look forward to this season?
Playing with my teammates and getting better overall
