Baseball Sweeps Doubleheader with Enterprise State Community College

Game 1: The Pirates took game one with a final score of 3-1. Starter Patrick Halligan (2-0) earned the win and threw the ball very well allowing one run on four hits while striking out ten in five and two-thirds innnings. Jake Cohen recorded the last four outs to earn the save for the Pirates. Anthony Notaro got the scoring started with an RBI groundout in the first inning. Left fielder Bayron Acevedo led the Pirates offensively with three hits at the plate with one run scored. Diego Clariot also had two RBI to help the Pirates secure the victory over Enterprise in game one. 

Game 2: The Pirates took game two behind starter David Warren (1-1) with a final score of 8-2. Warren took a no-hitter into the seventh inning before eventually giving up two hits and two runs over six and two-thirds innings, while striking out six. Jeffrey Wilson threw the last one-third of inning striking out the only batter he faced. PSC got off to a good start in the first inning when third baseman Brayden Morrow singled in a run. Two Pirates tallied multi-RBI games (Anthony Notaro, Darrien, McDowell) while four other Pirates recorded an RBI (Brandon Schrepf, Brayden Morrow, Ruben Espinal, Cooper Porter). Anthony Notaro and Darien McDowell both recorded multi hit games to lead the Pirates offensively.
