Seven Pirates Awarded by Panhandle Conference

The Panhandle Conference has selected seven Pirates for regular season honors. Konner Copeland has been named Panhandle Conference Pitcher of the Year. Copeland is 7-0 this year with 52.0 innings, and has pitched to a 1.21 ERA with 74 strikeouts. Pensacola native Jeffrey Wilson has been named Fireman of the Year, an award given to the best reliever in the conference. Wilson has 21.1 innings this year and has tallied three saves with a 1.69 ERA. Three Pirates have been selected as 1st Team All Conference players (Patrick Halligan, Brandon Schrepf, and Darrien McDowell). Two Pirates have been selected to the 2nd Team All Conference (Bayron Acevedo, Brayden Morrow).
