Baseball Prepares for Panhandle Play
The Pensacola State baseball team completed all of their preseason games this past weekend and will kickoff Panhandle play on Tuesday.

So far this season the Pirates are 10-12 with their best win being against no. 1 ranked Florida Southwestern on February 12th.
Currently the team is batting .290 with Bayron Acevedo leading the way with a .362 average with 11 RBI's. Andreaus Lewis II leads the team with four homeruns and 19 RBI's while sporting a .353 average.
On the mound Jeffrey Wilson has a 3-1 record with a 3.77 ERA. He has struck out 25 batters in just 14.1 innings of work.
Kevin Heinrich has been steady coming out of the bullpen and is sporting a .90 ERA through six appearances. Court Connally (3.72 ERA) and Ryan Keeley (2.25 ERA) have been reliable out of the bullpen as well.
Pensacola will host Gulf Coast State College on Tuesday at 5:00 pm.
