February 14

PSC beats John A. Logan 13-3. Led by Andreaus Lewis and Carson Hepworth, each hitting two doubles and driving in three runs. Blaydon Plain also picked up three hits with a double. Carter McCulley had two hits with two RBI as well. Brady Garcia picked up his first win going three innings with two runs and striking out five. Press Jeffcoat came out of the pen with 3.1 innings striking out four and giving up one run.

 

February 17

PSC beats Coastal Alabama South 16-8. There were four homeruns on the day hit by Andreaus Lewis, Jackson Hiatt, Michael Young and John Smith. Blaydon Plain was also 3-for-3 at the plate with three singles. Hiatt and Smith each had three RBI. Todd Clay picked up two hits with a double, John Smith and Preston Herce each contributed a double. On the mound, Andrew Lewis picked up the win, going four innings with one hit, no runs and striking out five. Jackson Kent also went two innings, four strikeouts and one earned run.

 

February 18

PSC beats Coastal Alabama South 9-2. Led offensively by two Pirates who had multi-homer games. Jackson Hiatt hit his 2nd and 3rd homerun in his first two games back in action. Blaydon Plain also hit homeruns in the game, driving in four runs. On the mound Josiah Glodfelter picked up his 3rd win, going four innings giving up one earned run. Jake Cohen went two innings giving up zero runs and Mason Morello went one inning giving up no runs.

 

February 18

PSC comes from behind and beats Pearl River 7-6 in extra innings. Carson Hepworth was the hero of the night, hitting a walk-off RBI single with two outs in the bottom of the 10th inning. That was his 2nd hit of the night, he drove in three runs throughout the game. John Smith picked up three hits, with a homerun and double, with one RBI. On the mound, the bullpen came up big. Court Connally went 2.1 innings giving up zero earned runs with no hits and striking out three. Neco Lopez went 1.2 innings with two strikeouts and zero hits. Zach Kittrell got the win, coming out of the pen strong with four innings, striking out eight batters and surrendering zero runs.
