Pirates Add Four Wins

The Pensacola State College (PSC) Pirates showcased their offensive prowess and pitching depth in a thrilling four-game series against Frontier, winning three out of four games. The wins carried over into Tuesday as they defeated Grand Rapids.
Game 1: PSC 10, Frontier 8
The series opener saw five Pirates with multi-hit games, led by Caden Hartman, who went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored. Mason Onate and Hunter Vaughn each contributed two hits, including a home run apiece. On the mound, Matteo Pare earned the win, pitching five innings, striking out five, and allowing just one unearned run.
Game 2: PSC 14, Frontier 2
In the first game of a doubleheader, the Pirates' offense exploded, led by Mason Onate, Lincoln Pack, and Brennon Uglioria, who each had three hits. Pack had a standout performance, going 3-for-4 with two home runs, nine RBIs, and two runs scored. Onate and Uglioria both scored three runs. Jase Phillips started on the mound, striking out nine over five innings and allowing two runs. Cole Ingole closed the game with a perfect inning, striking out the side.
Game 3: PSC 18, Frontier 5
The Pirates continued their offensive onslaught in the third game, scoring 18 runs. Drew Reaves, Dallas Dale, and Hunter Vaughn led the charge with multi-hit games. Reaves had three hits, including two doubles and four RBIs. Dale drove in six runs with a home run and a double. Hartman added a hit, two RBIs, and three runs scored. Justin Hoff and Carson Small combined for five innings, allowing five runs and striking out four.
Game 4: Frontier 12, PSC 11
Despite five Pirates having multi-hit games, PSC fell in a close contest. Mason Onate, Lincoln Pack, Caden Hartman, Dallas Dale, and Jaden Gummersbach all had multiple hits. Pack was a home run shy of the cycle, while Onate tallied two doubles and a triple. Dale added three hits, including a double. Dalton Biggs provided a highlight on the mound, pitching 1.1 clean innings with one strikeout.
Game 5: PSC 13, Grand Rapids 1
In a dominant performance against Grand Rapids, the Pirates' offense was led by Dallas Dale, Drew Reaves, Will Barter, Hunter Vaughn, and Jaden Gummersbach, who all had multiple hits. Hartman and Gummersbach each hit home runs, with Hartman driving in four runs and Gummersbach three. Pack and Barter added triples. Cole Ingole earned his first win of the season, pitching 3.2 innings with three strikeouts and no runs allowed. Isaiah Espinoza and Carson Small finished the game, with Small striking out one in his inning of work.
