The Pensacola State College Pirates had a successful spring break, going 4-2 in a series of games. They started by splitting a doubleheader with Northwest Florida. In the first game, the Pirates secured a thrilling 3-2 victory in 10 innings, thanks to Kaden Wilks' walk-off single through the 4-3 hole. The pitching staff was strong, with Cole Ingole, Dalton Biggs, and Bradley Link all contributing, and Link earning the win. However, the Raiders' bats exploded in the second game, racking up 15 hits and 13 runs to win 13-3.
Pensacola then faced Tallahassee, winning both games with scores of 4-1 and 12-8. In the first game, Matteo Pare threw 8 impressive innings, striking out seven for the win. Kaden Wilks went 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI. The second game saw the Pirates score six runs in the sixth inning to put the Eagles away. Kaden Wilks had a standout performance with three hits, three RBIs, and two doubles. Jaden Gummersbach and Ethan Frame both contributed three hits and two RBIs.
The final two games of the weekend were against Chipola, where the Pirates split the series. They won the first game 15-6, with the bats exploding for 18 hits. Caden Hartman led the charge, going a perfect 5-for-5 with two RBIs. Taft Middleton and Jaden Gummersbach both had three hits. However, Chipola flipped the script in the second game, winning 12-3.
