Pirates Move to 3-0 After Road Win

Pensacola State has started the season with its third straight win defeating Coastal Alabama North on the road 73-62. Coastal jumped out to an early 15-6 lead on the Pirates with 10 minutes left in the first half. Pensacola settled things down by going on a 26-10 run to close out the first half and take a seven point lead into halftime. In the second half, Pensacola led by as much as 21 points. With the win, Pensacola moves to 3-0 on the year. The Pirates were led offensively by Yeikson Montero with 15 points. Carlos Rosario added a double/double with 14 points and 11 rebounds and Shawndarius Cowart added 14 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists.

PSC will travel to Northwest Florida State to play Hartford College on Friday (11/9) and Palm Beach State on Saturday (11/10).
