Pensacola State begins the season 2-0 winning both games of the Tip-Off Classic over the weekend. 

Pensacola State College opened the season with a 103-63 win over Action Sports Academy on Firday night of the Tip-Off Classic. Carlos Rosario and Mo Cowarts led the way scoring 18 points a piece. Cowarts also had 10 assists and nine rebounds.Freshman Bryce Waterman finished with 14 pts. (4/7 3's).  Adrian walker had 13 points on the night. Rodney Smith and Josh Williams finished with 12 points a piece.

On Saturday night, PSC defeated Coastal Alabama South 89-73.  The Pirates scored 60 points and took a 23 point lead into halftime.  In the second half both teams played equally.  PSC was  led by five players in double figures. Shawndarius (Mo) Cowart had 18 points, 9 rebounds. and six assists. Rodney Smith also finished with 18 points.  Bryce Waterman and Carlos Rosario  added 15 points a piece. Josh Williams rounded it out with 13 points and 6 assists.

The Pirates head north to Monroeville to take on Coastal Alabama North on Tuesday, 11/5.
