Pensacola State defeated Roane State CC (Tn) 90 -64 on the second night of the Northwest Florida State College Classic to open the season 5-0.  

Roane State lives and dies by the three-pointer.  The Raiders were 17 of 39 on 3's against PSC.  They only had one 2-point basket in the first half and a total of 5 in the game. Jacob Naylor led RSCC with 20 pts. (6/10 3's).

The Pirates shot 51% for the game and 47% for 3's (9/19).  PSC had six players in double figures, led by  Carlos Rosario with16 pts.   Adrian Walker had 14 pts and 4 of the teams 12 steals.  Shawndarius Cowart had 12 pts. , 7 rebounds and 9 assists.  Bryce Waterman had 12 pts. (4/5 3's).  Jasman Sangha and Josh Williams added 11 pts. a piece.  Williams also had 8 rebs. and 5 assists.

Pensacola heads for a rematch at Coastal Alabama South on  Tuesday 11/12.  PSC defeated CAS 89 – 73 on Nov. 2.
