Men's Basketball Battles Tough Against Tallahassee Community College

On Friday March 27th, Pensacola State wrapped up the season with an 82-54 loss to Tallahassee Community College who is currently ranked 5th in the nation. The Pirates were without two key starters, Terry Durham and Matheus Silviera, who both suffered season ending injuries. The Pirates were able to keep it close in the first half, down by just 3 points. Brett Thompson had the hot hand going into halftime leading the Pirates with 11 points.

Coming out of the half, Tedrick Washington got hot early on, hitting on three straight 3-point baskets. Unfortunately, with a depleted Pirate roster, TCC was just too much for the Pirates to handle. TCC was led by El Ellis with 26 points, Shawn Walker added 18 points, and both Jeremiah Kendall and Josh Rubio added 12 points. The Pirates were led by Tedrick Washington with 14 points, Brett Thompson finished with 11 points, and DJ McKenzie added 10 points.
