The Pirates opened up Panhandle play on Thursday, January 6th at home against Gulf Coast State College.
Despite shooting a red hot 52% for the game, Pensacola could not pull it off as they lost 82-68. D'Anthony Pennington led all scorers with 19 points, missing just two shots on the game. Truth Harris contributed 17 points, and Paul Smith chipped in 13.
Pensacola then hit the road to Chipola on Saturday, January 8th, to face the no. 6 ranked Indians. The Indians were too much to handle as they shot 52.6% overall, and 46.2% from 3-point range. Jarveil Gainey led the way for the Pirates with 12 points.
Pensacola will take on Tallahassee on Wednesday, January 12th, at home at 7:30 pm.
