Pirates Cruise to 83-64 Win

Pensacola State jumped back in the win column with an 83-64 victory over Florida Coastal Prep Spartans.

The Pensacola defense was in the zone, forcing the Spartans into 23 turnovers. Jalen Keago led the way offensively with 18 points and six assists, shooting 60% from 3-point range. Roderick Coffee III added 12 points and seven steals while Colin Howells turned in a good game with 16 points and four rebounds.   

The Pirates will host their annual Thanksgiving Classic beginning Monday, November 21st. Attending the Classic will be Texas junior colleges: Ranger College and Lamar State - Port Arthur. Jones College out of Mississippi will also be in attendance. Panhandle Conference teams that will travel to Hartsell Arena will be Northwest Florida State and Gulf Coast State.
