Pirates Lose Heartbreaker to TCC

The Pirates took first place Tallahassee down to the wire on Wednesday and came up just short dropping the game 72-71.

The Eagles led by nine at halftime and Pensacola fought back in the second half. They had possession with less than 10 seconds remaining in the game, but a layup attempt rimmed out and TCC held on for the win.

Jalen Keago was the top scorer in the game with 22 points and also grabbed a team high eight rebounds. Zondrick Garrett contributed 13 points while Roderick Coffee III and Harry Santiago both had 10 points.

Pensacola will travel to Northwest Florida State on Saturday, February 4th for a 4:00 pm game.
