The Pirates opened their home slate of games for the 2023-24 season when they faced the Lions of Reid State Tech on Tuesday night. 

Offense was never the problem in this one as the Pirates scored 94 points with 26 of those coming from sophomore, guard Jalen Keago. Throw in 14 more from Colin Howells, and this one was quickly turned into more of a track meet than a basketball game. Dylan Colon added 13 points and Brendan Terry continued his double-digit scoring streak with 11. 

When the buzzer sounded the Pirates had won 94-90 and advanced to 3-0 in the young season. Pensacola looks to continue their winning ways this weekend when they travel down to Niceville for the Northwest Florida State Classic to play Meridian Community College and Southern Union Community College. Both Games will tip-off at 3:30pm on Friday and Saturday.
