The Pirates ran their record to 6-0 Tuesday night with a thrilling 94-93 win in double overtime to top Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Elijah Wyche made an incredible layup with .7 seconds left in the second overtime period with PSC down one, this proved to be the game winner.
Jalen Keago led the Pirates with 35 points and six rebounds. Dylan Colon had 15 points and two big free throws with Pensacola down two with three seconds left in regulation to send the game to overtime.
Pensacola will travel to Mobile to take on an undefeated Bishop State team on Thursday, November 16h at 7:00 pm.
Next week PSC will host the Thanksgiving Classic starting on Monday, November 20th and running through Wednesday, November 22nd. The tournament will feature two nationally ranked Top 10 teams including the nation's no. 1 team Northwest Florida State.
