Pirates Hand Bishop State First Loss

The Pirates had a big game against Bishop State who was came into the contest with a perfect 10-0 record. PSC made a big comeback down the stretch as they trailed by 12 with 10 minutes remaining.

Elijah Wyche led the Pirates with 14 points and Dylan Colon had 13 as both players were big factors in the final minutes. Calik "Duke" Thomas hit two crucial jumpers in the waning moments of the game.

The Pirates were outstanding defensively as they held Bishop to a 28.6 field goal percentage and outscored them 17-4 to close out the game.

This win gives Pensacola a 10-4 record for the year so far. They will be on Christmas break until December 29th when they kick off the Pensacola State College Classic against no. 18 ranked Panola and then they will face East Mississippi and Bishop State the subsequent days.
