Pensacola came out strong in the second half, igniting an 8-0 scoring run to pull within three points. However, they couldn't maintain the momentum and had no answer for Trinidad State's dynamic duo, Lateef Patrick and Amir Reaves, who scored 33 and 31 points respectively.
Dylan Colon led the Pirates with 19 points and five assists, while Isaiah Sutherland was hot from 3-point range, hitting four in the second half and finishing with 15 points. Will Vasser and Amarion Savage each contributed 12 points to the effort.
Despite the loss, Pensacola State finishes the season with a commendable 23-12 overall record, showcasing their resilience and determination throughout the year.
