All five sophomores from the 2016-17 softball class have signed with four-year schools to continue their playing careers. 

Kacie Cahill will continue her playing career as a West Virginia Tech Golden Bear. The Coral Springs native was the anchor of the Pirate outfield for both her seasons in Pensacola. As a sophomore she batted .231 with 5 doubles and sported a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.

Emily Corbitt, a utility/infielder, will continue her playing career at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Ky. Corbitt hails from Thomasville, Ga. and was named Second Team All-Conference as a freshman when she batted .333 while driving in 24 runs. During her sophomore campaign Corbitt again batted .333 with an on-base percentage of .410 as she drove in 18 RBI's for the Pirates. 

Erika Greek, who also calls Thomasville, Ga. home, has signed with Lee University in Cleveland, Tn. The 5'11" pitcher earned First Team All-Conference honors as a freshman when she threw the bulk of the innnings for the Pirates and collected 17 wins while striking out 196 batters and posted a 2.08 ERA. As a sophomore Greek again threw the most innings of the staff and struck out 123 batters while recording a 2.70 ERA. 

Lani Kaleikini, a pitcher/infielder from Greenbrae, Ca., will play next season for Embry Riddle Arizona. After missing much of her freshman season due to injury Kaleikini returned to start 43 games as a sophomore. She batted .270 with an on-base percentage of .333 and recorded 6 doubles. 

Heather Keane who came to PSC from St. Augustine, Fl. will take the mound next season for the Union College Bulldogs in Barbourville, Ky. As a freshman Keane struck out 44 batters over 91 innings of work and this past season she sported a 5-2 record with a 2.49 ERA.
