The Pirate softball team traveled to Marianna, FL on Saturday and dropped two games to nationally ranked no. 1 Chipola.
Pensacola State could not get their bats going all day. Game one saw them strand five runners on base as the Chipola pitcher picked up a no-hitter in the contest and the Indians won 8-0.
Game two proved to be much of the same as Madison Marshall was the only Pirate able to pick up a hit in the game and Chipola walked away with a 9-0 victory.
The Pirates will host Gulf Coast State at home on Wednesday, March 21 at 4:00 and 6:00 pm.
