Chambers and Pacetti Headed to St. Thomas

Pensacola State softball sophomores Kylie Chambers and Destiny Pacetti will both continue their playing career at St. Thomas University.

Chambers is an outfielder from Pembroke Pines, Florida whose leadership qualities on and off the field were invaluable to the Pirates. This season Chambers was sporting a .333 batting average while scoring 10 runs. This year she also earned NJCAA All-Academic Second Team, FCSAA All-Academic and Panhandle All-Academic honors.

Pacetti also roams the outfield and is fleet of foot on the bases. The Jacksonville, Florida native was batting .267 this past season with a .353 on base percentage. In her two year career at PSC she was never caught stealing. Pacetti was also named to the FCSAA All-Academic and Panhandle All-Academic teams.

St. Thomas is a member of the NAIA and is located in Miami Gardens, Florida. The Bobcats are led by newly minted Head Coach Kristen Nicolette and participate in The Sun Conference.
