Ana Reyes will move on next season to continue her playing career at Warner University in Lake Wales, Florida.
She is a utility player who spent time in the outfield and at second base for the Pirates. As a freshman Reyes batted .264 with 23 RBI's, seven doubles and three homerun's. As a sophomore she was starting to find her groove after returning from injury before the season was cut short due to COVID-19.
Reyes is also strong in the classroom and was named to the Panhandle Conference All-Academic team twice and FCSAA All-Academic team once.
Warner is an NAIA institution that competes in The Sun Conference and will be led by first year Head Coach Meagan Smith. The Royals were sporting a stellar 19-3 record last season and were ranked #25 nationally before COVID-19 shut them down.
